Get Involved

Kincraig and its neighbouring communities of Alvie, Insh, Drumguish, Speybank, Feshiebridge, Lynchat, Dalnavert and Feshiebridge make up the main settlements covered by the Community Council.

The area lies at the heart of the Scottish Highlands within the Cairngorm National Park. It is an area of outstanding natural beauty containing some of Scotland’s most treasured landscapes and rare wildlife.

Vast ancient forests, hidden lochs and heather clad moorlands flank the famous River Spey and its tributaries. The snow capped hills of the Cairngorm range provide a dramatic backdrop to areas unique setting.

Community Councils meet a minimum of 6 times annually. You are normally free to attend your Community Council’s regular public meetings. There will be an opportunity within the meeting for you to ask questions and make comments.

Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of the month at the Village Hall

An agenda detailing what will be discussed will be made available 7 days before each Community Council meeting.

Minutes will be taken and these will be publicly available once approved.

Please see Our Minutes & Agendas Page.
